hup! celebrates carbon efficiency with new website

The hup! lightweight building system from Ultraframe is celebrating the launch of its new homeowner website, along with the news that hup! is 60% more carbon efficient than a brick wall.

Commenting on the two exciting pieces of hup! news, Ultraframe Marketing Director, Alex Hewitt, said: “Our new hup! website is the perfect way to announce the news that hup! is 60% more carbon efficient than a brick wall. Whilst the speed, flexibility and energy efficiency of the system are key factors in why homeowners choose hup!, the green credentials of building materials are also an incredibly important factor when choosing how to extend their homes. hup! already boasted strong environmental credentials thanks to its zero waste manufacturing, minimal site waste and extremely low on site water usage, and this news about its carbon efficiency means that hup! really is the sustainable way to build.”

Manufactured in the UK, hups’! commitment to reducing environmental impact has been formally recognised with the ISO 14001 accreditation for manufacturing processes across the three Ultraframe sites across the North West where the system is manufactured.

The news about hup!’s carbon efficiency was perfectly timed to be announced on the brand new, standalone hup! homeowner website which is live now at www.hup-home.co.uk. The website has been created in conjunction with Ultraframe’s digital partners, ICAAL, who are well known for their expertise within the glass and glazing industry.

Commenting about the new hup! website, Alex said: “hup-home.co.uk has been designed to provide a sleek, modern visitor experience that allows homeowners to explore hup! technology in more detail and get inspiration for their own projects. The look and feel of the site are unlike any other website in the industry, giving the hup! site a strong, fresh identity.  One of the standout features of the new website is an interactive configurator where homeowners can design their own hup!, choosing everything from the location of windows & doors, roof type and glazing options, colour of various elements, and the external finish. By allowing homeowners to experiment in this way, this not only demonstrates the immense flexibility of the hup! system, but also inspires consumers to take the next step in their own hup! journey. Along with inspirational features such as the configurator, the site also provides plentiful technical information about the capabilities and performance of hup!, along with homeowner case studies in both written and video formats so that potential hup! homeowners can hear first-hand how simple the process of adding a hup! to your home is. The website will continue to be updated with new case studies and photography and so it is a great resource for hup! installers when they are speaking to homeowners about their hup! project.”

Ultraframe will be investing in lead generation activity on the new hup! website to generate homeowner leads for hup! installers. Installers can register their interest in receiving hup! leads in their area by emailing marketing@ultraframe.co.uk.

Concluding, Alex said: “Forward thinking companies who wish to be a part of the building revolution can keep up to date with all of the latest ‘hup!dates’ by following our dedicated social channels where we’ll share the latest installation photos, case studies, photography and video content – be sure to like, follow and subscribe via the links on the new hup! website.”
