The innovative Safechoice App that helps you to sell

By enabling consumers to visualise what their new windows and doors will look like when fitted in their homes, the innovative Safechoice Window and Door design App helps installers to close more sales.

Unveiled at the 2014 FIT Show, the App is a core element of the Safechoice Partnership proposition, the exclusive, retail window, door and conservatory support solution from MASCO UK Fabrication.

And in just a few months, it has already been well-received by installers, according to Nathan Court, SafeChoice UK Brand Manager, who says: “It’s a great example of how modern technology is helping them to win more business as customers can see in just seconds how their new windows and doors can transform their home’s appearance.

“Simply take a photo of your customer’s property. Then superimpose any product from the extensive SafeChoice window and door range onto the picture. By instantly visualising your products overlaid on their property, whether they’re coloured windows, decorative glazing or a composite door, homeowners can emotionally ‘buy-in’ to their replacement project. It’s an invaluable tool to convert a lead into a sale,” he continues.

“As a visualisation aid, the App has been specially designed to take the guesswork out of choosing these new home improvement products, while also providing added reassurance at a time of long-term investment decision-making,” adds Nathan.

Intuitive and easy-to-use, the Safechoice App uses Augmented Reality technology to place the required product onto the photo, providing a realistic view of the building fitted with SafeChoice products.

Leon Taswell, Director of Taunton-based A1 Windows and Doors Ltd, says the App is a welcome enhancement to their business, commenting: “It is definitely a good selling tool that will help us going forward. Our sales team thinks it is something that will help them sell over other companies as it presents a very professional approach and is a helpful service for consumers.

“Being able to offer this instant design service via the App to customers in our specific target area gives us a unique edge over other companies. In my opinion, the App is probably the best part of the Safechoice brand,” adds Leon.

Safechoice provides installers with practical tools and support that can add real value to their businesses and help them stand apart from the rest. For more information or to register your interest, visit www.safechoicepartnership.co.uk or call 01684 852684.
