The company, which has been an approved supplier of the Residence 9 Flush Sash window system for two years, puts this down to the fact that more customers are looking for authentic timber finishes, but without the maintenance issues of wooden windows.
Graham Howatson, Sales and Marketing Director for HWL Windows Group, said: “It’s great to see such a large increase in Residence 9 sales, as trade customers have recognised our expertise in this area and quick turnaround times. The buoyant refurbishment market has undoubtedly contributed towards this with many choosing to upgrade period or country homes, where Residence 9 is helping them meet planning conditions.”
HWL offers a wide range of colour options including Grained White, Cotswold Biscuit, Clotted Cream, Cotswold Green, Painswick, English Oak, Irish Oak, Silvered Oak, Anthracite Grey, Black and Corse Lawn.
Residence 9 windows offer excellent noise and thermal insulation and can be specified with either 28mm Double Glazed Units or 44mm Triple Glazed Units.
All HWL’s Residence 9 windows are factory glazed and glass bonded, featuring mechanically-jointed sashes with traditional butt joint detail. A composite option is available through Solidor’s 64 mm door leaf. The full Solidor range can be combined in Residence 9’s dedicated frame.
HWL also offers an optional range of traditional hardware including Monkey tail handles and peg stays.
The company produces PVC-u and aluminium windows, doors and bi-folds for trade customers across the whole of the UK. HWL Windows Group prides itself on delivering a level of customer service that is second to none, combined with a range of market leading products. Within the HWL Windows Group are a number of businesses, including HWL Trade Frames, HWL Aluminium, HWL Door and Window Fixer and The Bi Folding Door company.
