Make sure you’re connected with Rehau

REHAU has launched a new platform – REHAU Connect – to provide installers with a simple, digital way to order windows. Currently being rolled out in Scotland on a trial basis, the REHAU Connect platform is intuitive and easy to use and keeps everything an installer needs for a job in one place – from quotation to completion.

The platform’s step-by-step features start with the REHAU product catalogue – formatted for easy viewing and featuring all of the company’s window and door products in one place, installers can use the platform to show customers lots of different options and find the windows and doors which best meet their requirements. With REHAU’s entire product portfolio at their fingertips, installers will find it easier to upsell/cross sell products, helping them to increase the value of the work they are quoting for.

Once a decision has been made on products, installers can then use the platform to send requests for quotes in just one click. The platform stores all the installer’s contacts, so there’s no need to spend time trying to remember email addresses or searching for contact details. Jobs are also kept on the platform, so looking back and reviewing previous work is nice and easy too.

Suitable for use with mobile and tablet devices as well as desktop computers, the REHAU Connect platform was launched in Scotland at a series of events held from 5-8 February in Glasgow, Edinburgh and Aberdeen. The events included an introductory talk for local installers about the platform and its capabilities, a demo of the system plus refreshments.

Gareth Jones, Marketing and Technical Director, REHAU Windows Division, said: “The REHAU Connect platform has been designed to make life easier for installers, streamlining the ordering process to help save them time and money. The platform itself has been designed with simplicity in mind and a step-by-step approach which reduces the back and forth with fabricators to finalise specifications.”

Currently as the app is in trial stage there are also further developments planned, and REHAU are keen to receive feedback to enable constant improvement.

One business already using the app effectively is DP Windows and Doors in Fife, an Authorised Pratner and installer of REHAU products.

Owner Paul Crawford said: “One thing I really like about the app is that everything is in one place. I used to jot notes and quotes down on bits of paper here, there and everywhere, and this is where mishaps happen and information gets lost. With Connect, all the information is stored on the app so I don’t have to worry about searching for scraps of paper in the van. I like having the ability to send and receive quotes in real time too; this makes things so much more efficient and makes my life easier.

“Connect helps me connect with my customers and suppliers, in a really simple and user friendly way. It’s a great tool, and one which I believe will help me grow my business and make it more efficient.”
