Last year, Europe’s biggest sash window manufacturers Victorian Sliders invested £600,000 to dramatically expand their transport fleet.
Now, just a few months later, the sash window firm has invested again – this time acquiring 5 new Mercedes Sprinter vans for deliveries, another two Vito vans for its travelling engineers, and 8 trailers, freshly branded with new company artwork, that will transport thousands of ECOSlide windows to customers around the country.
The business has also ordered five new articulated trucks, which will be arriving in the Autumn.
It’s a sign of surging demand for ECOSlide sash windows – and yet another demonstration of Victorian Sliders’ commitment to constant investment.
“We’ve been blown away by the scale of the demand we’ve seen over the last twelve months,” comments Marketing Manager Geoff Bishop.
“Sales and production records have repeatedly been broken, and that’s allowing us to scale up our operations across the board. This latest investment in transportation enables us to deliver to even more installers across Britain.”
Geoff concludes: “Despite the challenges of the past year, we’re very confident the future’s bright both for Victorian Sliders, and the thousands of installers who buy from us.”
