Phil is well qualified for this position, as he has previously held positions at nearby systems suppliers LB Plastics and Eurocell where he was responsible for the design and implementation of several high profile product development programmes.
This challenging new job assignment is one to relish, as Phil explains: “Synseal has such a diverse high quality product range from windows and doors right through to roofing and orangery products, so any designer worth his salt would envy this chance to build even better solutions to enhance this strong portfolio. Synseal has an exciting roadmap with new product introductions and range extensions planned and I’m looking forward to working with the experienced R&D team to fine tune strategic direction and drive innovation.”
In former times Derbyshire-based Phil has enjoyed the rough and tumble of competing in contact sports such as club rugby and charity boxing, but these days family life with his wife Liz and two young sons Max and Oliver keeps him more than busy.
Steve Brown, Synseal’s Head of Customer Care & Product Strategy, comments: “Many of the senior management team at Synseal have previously had direct experience of working alongside Phil and know the proven skills he will bring to energise and focus our R&D programmes. We are delighted to welcome such a high calibre individual to join us at the Huthwaite office in Nottinghamshire and strengthen our R&D team.”
