Quickslide boosts its team with three appointments

Fast-growing fabricator Quickslide has announced three new appointments – including two completely new positions – to further strengthen its service to a growing base of trade customers across the UK.

Marcus O’Boyle joins in the new role of National Business Development manager to generate new business among window installers and establish the foundations of long-term working relationships.

Tracy Wilson is the new Customer Services Manager, taking charge of upholding Quickslide’s unrivalled reputation in this field.

In another newly created role of Systems Analyst is Joe Pickering, who will develop control systems and support the Quickslide philosophy of Continuous Improvement.

Marketing Director Tom Swallow said: “We’re really pleased to have Marcus, Tracy and Joe on board. They are all ideally qualified to help us to build on our strengths and reputation for quality and value throughout the industry, backed by our commitment to supporting our trade customers and promoting efficient manufacturing practices.”

Marcus brings to Quickslide over 30 years experience in B2B and retail sales. He said: “I’m looking forward to meeting many new customers and working with them to create an environment where we can do profitable business together.”

Tracy’s 20-year customer service background includes roles as diverse as banking and running a pub so she will be more than qualified to help any Quickslide customers. She said: “I am looking forward to helping build the company’s reputation for excellent windows and excellent service.

Joe says he is impressed by Quickslide’s commitment to Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement and the company’s aim to become ‘the Toyota of the window industry’

He added: “It’s good that the whole business is moving strategically and tactically towards that same goal, and that I am working with a passionate and driven team.”

Quickslide is best-known for its acclaimed sliding sash windows, and the company has been instrumental in bringing this former niche product into the mainstream of the retrofit and new-build markets, but it also manufactures a wide range of other styles of windows and doors for trade and commercial customers.
