Rehau celebrates three decades of collaboration with Sheffield Window Centre

Sheffield Window Centre has hit a grand landmark in its association with Rehau, as the Yorkshire window retailer celebrates thirty years exclusively manufacturing its profiles. This is one of several important milestones that Rehau has celebrated throughout the last year, with the window frame specialist celebrating partnerships totalling over 100 years with its many long-standing customers.

Rehau’s Commercial Sales Manager Hannah Smith, Head of Sales Jonathan Hicks, and Sales Director, Barry Gilligan celebrated the anniversary by visiting Sheffield Window Centre presenting them with a plaque and certificate to mark the occasion. As a family run business that has been trading for over 45 years, Sheffield Window Centre’s products are made-to-measure in its Sheffield factory, all using Rehau’s high quality profiles.

Ian Hunter, Senior Director at Sheffield Window Centre said: “Thirty years ago, we carefully searched the marketplace for a profile supplier who would be able to provide all the technical advice and back-up necessary to ensure a long-term future for all of us. An original list of over 15 companies was narrowed down to one – Rehau.

“We chose Rehau because it is widely acknowledged that their PVC-U is the best on the market and this claim is justified by its wider group involvement with the likes of Mercedes, BMW, and many other highly respected international companies. With these credentials in mind, you can be confident that our products will stand the test of time and last you well into the future”.

Also discussed at the celebrations was Rehau’s brand new range of Slinova sliding doors, which is based on the latest interior design trends and the continued movement to hybrid working and increasing natural light in homes.

The staff at Sheffield Windows Centre were busy embedding the new Slinova product and discussing the features of the new sliding door.  They were particularly impressed with the innovative design disguising the door locks within the sash alongside its 20-colour combination finishes that can be matched to the inside and outside of any property. Ian added: “The new Slinova range is an exciting addition to our range. Rehau’s vision fits with our own, as we have invested heavily in all the latest and most innovative machinery to ensure a high-quality finish to all our products.”
