Skypod and Aspect are the perfect partnership, says fabricator Astraseal

Wellingborough-based Astraseal has extended its natural light offering by beginning to supply Eurocell’s hugely successful Skypod range of skylights.

Easily installed and hugely versatile, the innovative range of pitched skylights come in a wide array of sizes and configurations suitable for use on virtually any project, from flat-roofed extensions to new-builds and orangeries. A range of frame and glass colour options let homeowners add a personal touch, while a 10-year guarantee gives them confidence that their purchase will still be functioning to a high standard for years to come.

This latest offering perfectly complements another recent addition to the Astraseal portfolio – Eurocell’s Aspect bi-fold. Boasting ultra-slim frames and uninterrupted sightlines, the Aspect was specifically designed to integrate indoor and outdoor spaces with its 90% clear opening. As the first and only bi-fold to receive both BBA and Secured by Design PAS24 accreditation, the Aspect also delivers exceptional security, equipped with both concealed bottom rollers and anti-jemmy pins as well as an innovative D-handle that folds flat when not in use. What’s more, its patented trim conceals unattractive gasket lines, and thanks to Astraseal’s in-house spray booth it can be finished in any RAL colour.

“We’ve seen a definite trend towards products that favour natural light in recent years,” commented Astraseal marketing manager Zac Nedimovic. “Homeowners love to blur the lines between the inside and outside of their properties, and these products provide a fantastic way of maximising the intake of sunlight. Together, Skypod and Aspect offer the perfect package for end-users seeking that airy, spacious feel.”

Since adding Eurocell to its uPVC range last year, Astraseal has also begun offering the company’s innovative Modus window, as well as its Eurologik 70mm system. “Eurocell has an excellent reputation among installers and has allowed us to provide a diverse range of very high-quality products at a slightly different price point. It’s all part of our signature commitment to offering our trade clients the greatest possible choice, backed by the best customer support in the business. It’s also worth pointing out that we manufacture and toughen all the glass units ourselves, which means our clients don’t have to use multiple suppliers and can benefit from very competitive trade prices.”

As well as Eurocell, Astraseal also offers a comprehensive range of other products that includes the full range of REHAU windows and doors, Synseal inline sliders and vertical sliders, and Global conservatory roofs. On the aluminium front, the company provides windows, doors, curtain walling and shop fronts using the Smarts and Reynaers profile. All products are produced from the fabricator’s 110,000 square foot facility in Wellingborough.
