A daytime latch function is included as standard in the lock for all Solidor doors, and a simple button within the keep disengages the lock so the door can be opened from the outside without a key and avoids you getting locked out from your home. Solidor Technical Director Pierre Mifsud says: “Our solid timber core composite doors are the most secure in the market so it’s important the hardware we use is top of the game too. The addition of the AV3 lock means our customers can now benefit from even more choice on security. It is particularly relevant for installations where a guaranteed compression from the auto lock is needed.”
