Steve Prudence, Production Director of Dutemänn

In a move that supports Dutemann’s growth and expansion of its range of products, the aluminium door specialist has promoted Steve Prudence to the position of Production Director. Steve had previously held the position of Factory Manager and has played an instrumental role in the development and production of the ranges of bi-fold doors, Haus entrance doors and the recently launched Dutemänn Glide sliding door.

Steve has been with the company for seven years and more recently has been directly responsible for incorporating the manufacturing of the Dutemänn Glide and the Haus entrance door into the existing production flows. The company now operates from two purpose-built facilities which gives Dutemänn a total operating space of over 8,500 ft2. Managing Director, Martin James believes Steve is instrumental to the success of the company: “Steve’s move from Factory Manager to Production Director has been seamless. He has all the attributes to excel in his new role and he will have complete input into the development of our new products. It’s an exciting time for us; we have followed up the launch of our Haus entrance doors with the new Dutemänn Glide next-generation of sliding doors.”

The product capabilities of the Dutemänn Glide perfectly demonstrate the expertise of Steve and his production staff. The Glide offers a sliding door that spans to a maximum width of 6.7 metres and height of 3.2 metres with just two panels. Steve adds: “We now have three superb aluminium door products that perfectly answer the needs of the marketplace. The technical capabilities of these products are backed up by our expertise in production and I am extremely proud to be associated with these market-leading products. I am looking forward to my new role and being involved in the future success of Dutemann.”
