The Horizon Auto-Drive Glass Lifter from Packline Materials Handling

New to Packline Materials Handling is the Horizon Auto Drive, a glass lifter designed for in-shop use to assist glass workers to unload, rotate, transport and lay large sheets of glass onto a cutting table or tempering line.

The Horizon has a lifting capacity of up to 300kg (660lbs), and can rotate glass measuring up to 4400mm (180”).

The Horizon auto-drive has a 12-volt battery powered vacuum pump and 2 hydraulic rams.

The glass lifter will lift and tilt glass to the horizontal, allowing one operator to lift glass from a rack or truck, index the glass to the horizontal, and then slowly and precisely lower the sheet onto a table or into a frame.

The Horizon uses a battery powered rear drive wheel, as well as  powered side shift, which allows up to 200mm movement left and right; ideal for setting glass sheets into a frame to create a perfect seal.
