The Residence Collection installs 250 R7 windows at new-build Hertfordshire development

Premium windows and door designer, The Residence Collection, completes new-build development in Hertfordshire with 250 Residence 7 system windows in the Grained White colourway.

In collaboration with installer, HBD Systems and fabricator Window Tech Trade, 20 homes and two apartment blocks were fitted with the Residence 7 range, which was crafted using the timberweld technique. Most of the windows were designed as double side-hung casements, featuring a floating mullion and astragal bars to complete the homes at the Melbourne Mews site, a Jarvis Homes development.

In this project, the Residence 7 system was chosen as they, exceed the required U and G values, with 44mm glazing attaining U-Values of 0.79W/m²K and 1.2 for 28mm glazing. The windows are energy-efficient, certified with an A++ window energy rating for 44mm glazing and A for 28mm glazing and feature side-hung casements with floating mullion and Georgian bars.

For the Melbourne Mews development, Grained White was chosen for both the external and internal windows frames, however the R7 system has 20 colour choices as well as a range of dual-colour options.

Harry Wallis, Sales and Marketing Manager at Window Tech Trade explained: “The Residence 7 windows perfectly encapsulated the countryside properties at Melbourne Mews. These windows not only elevate the aesthetics but also bring exceptional durability and energy efficiency.

“Our team took great pride in joining this project to seamlessly integrate each window to perfection. We’re thrilled to have been part of this project with The Residence Collection windows with installer HBD Systems”.

Sally Gingell, Southern Sales Manager for The Residence Collection, said: “At The Residence Collection we are dedicated to supplying a wide range of homes, including newly developed properties, with windows that not only complement the new-build and the local areas architecture but also guarantee long-lasting performance.

“Establishing strong partnerships is vital in delivering the high-quality services we are known for. Therefore, we are delighted to have successfully completed the project in collaboration with HBD Systems and Window Tech Trade”.
