Trade fabricator The Camden Group celebrates 35 year of trading

2018 is an eventful year for Camden as they mark 35 years trading. Established in 1983, the PVC-U manufacturer have made their mark across the UK & Ireland in a highly competitive industry. 

Founded by Patrick Lavery in 1983, the values of the company have stayed consistent since its establishment. Now, in 2018 Camden design products for longevity, maximum design impact and of course, strength and security. Trading across the UK and Ireland, Camden are not only reputable for their quality but their environmental focus, with 80% of their Inliten profile system consisting of recycled content.

The company have been celebrating 35 years trading, having internal celebrations and incentives for their work force. The company values the dedication of their employees and customers that have supported them throughout the years. Director Brian Lavery comments, “We are proud to be the leading uPVC manufacturer across the UK and Ireland. Our products and service is unrivalled in choice and quality.”

Maintaining the successes of Camden for 35 years is an incredible achievement, but what exactly is it about Camden PVCu products that make them stand out?

Frame Production

Frame production is at the core of Camden’s business. Their production facilities and advanced technologies allow them to manufacture up to 10,000 PVCu windows and doors per week.

Glass Production

Camden’s state-of-the-art glass production facilities allows them to manufacture a range of high-performance glazing units suitable for both the domestic and commercial sectors, with a capacity of over 20,000 sealed units per week.

Foiling & Spray

Camden’s onsite foiling and spray-painting facilities allow them to offer an extensive range of foil laminate frame finishes and spray-painted colours to match any RAL colour code. Providing a variety of style options to meet their customer’s desires.

Recycling & Extrusion

The innovative Inliten profile has been designed with sustainability in mind, featuring 80% recycled content. The unique co-extrusion process however, ensures that all external visible surfaces feature 100% virgin PVCu to ensure a perfect finish and eliminate the risk of decolourisation.

Camden is committed to the environment, and has invested heavily in their own onsite recycling facilities, which have helped them create the greenest and most environmentally sustainable product range on the market today.

The recycling facility reduces the amount of waste going to landfill by around 50 tonnes per week.
