Alison Benson, General Manager of The Promac Group
Promac Group has strengthened its senior management team with the appointment of Alison Benson to its newly created, Group General Manager post.
Having joined the Group as Continuous Improvement Manager in April 2015, Alison a business improvement Six Sigma black belt, was promoted to her new post in the summer.
She brings with her extensive experience in process and system management and improvement gained in senior roles at commercial finance giant, GE Capital and Maccess, the UK’s largest supplier of car parts and consumables.
Alison said: “Promac Group is very good in what it does but there are always opportunities to be better and to deliver higher levels of service and support to our customers.
“We have already completed a huge amount of work to improve customer service and this will continue as we integrate sales, IT, consumables and aftercare services and support to create the ultimate ‘one-stop-machinery shop and service.”
Joe Hague, Managing Director, Promac Group said Alison brought significant gravitas and experience to the machinery specialists new General Manager role.
He said: “What are customers are going to see is far greater transparency and visibility of our whole service and support offer. This goes far beyond machinery sales to strategic planning and through-life support.
“It will allow us to be more responsive but also far more proactive in the support that we are able to offer to our customers.”
