This exciting new window is designed to exactly mimic traditional timber box sash windows that showcase homes in some of the most exclusive streets across the UK and Ireland. The Mayfair has many ‘exclusive-to-KAT’ features which allow KAT customers to offer true differentiation to consumers. Mayfair has a fully mechanically jointed outer frame, mechanically jointed sashes and a mechanically jointed deep bottom rail, plus run-through sash horns. Mayfair is whitegrain foil laminated both sides and has new ‘KAT bespoke’ traditional Georgian bars, which sit flush with the sash as in timber. Mayfair has a completely flush 146mm outer frame with integral cill which makes it much easier for installers as there is much less awkward making-up to do. The decorative hook and claw cam-catch is another bespoke element which has been developed specifically for KAT.
KAT prides itself on launching new products that have a combination of innovation and market-leading design and Chris Powell, Commercial Director comments: “A lot of time and effort went into researching this product particularly with our key customers, whose participation was critical. We are confident that we have an exciting new desirable product that allows our customers to benefit by differentiation from other box sash windows.” If you would like more information on the Mayfair box sash or for sliding patio doors, bi-fold doors and any of KAT’s other timber, aluminium or PVC-U ranges, please call KAT; one of the customer service team will be on hand to help. KAT has manufacturing facilities in Macclesfield, Hazel Grove and Newhaven and 5 showrooms nationwide.
