Leading UK security brand, Ultion, has partnered with Europe’s top smart lock supplier, Nuki, to create the Ultion Nuki designed specifically for safeguarding British doors. Ultion Nuki meets the most stringent physical and digital security standards with a true one-model-fits-all solution compatible across multiple smart home platforms and popular apps. By combining a dedicated lock trusted by British locksmiths and awarded 3-Star Plus Diamond Sold Secure status, with a Nuki unit given the highest possible rating for IT security by Germany’s respected AV-Test GmbH Institute, Ultion Nuki is a smart lock you can trust. Attractive in design, Ultion Nuki’s primary role is to keep the bad guys out and has been engineered for UK homes where it can be retrofitted to existing doors or added to new ones. No drilling, wiring, or calibration are needed, while installation to operation takes just five minutes. Fitted with the latest smart home technology, the lock is compatible with Ring, Amazon Alexa, Google Home, Apple HomeKit, IFTTT, AirBnB, the Nuki app, and smartwatches, all straight from the box, meaning you don’t have to replace it should you decide to switch smart home platforms.
As well as being protected by state-of-the-art end-to-end encryption used in online banking, the physical heart comprises an Ultion cylinder that automatically goes into lockdown mode if it detects an attack, where a hidden firing pin secures the mechanism to stop it being opened. Ultion is so sure an intruder won’t be able to access a property by breaking the lock, they include a £2000 security guarantee. Aside from being operated by smartphone, smartwatch, Nuki Fob or Nuki Keypad, if you’re taking a call or have your hands full, Ultion Nuki will open automatically when it senses you’re close and locks again after a few seconds. This setting can be switched off if required. It will also work with your preferred voice assistant, prompting you to say your passcode so intruders can’t simply shout ‘Alexa, unlock my door’. And to make Ultion Nuki truly intelligent, and unlike some other so-called smart locks, it still comes with a key.
