Setting yourself up for success in growth sectors

Two areas seeing particularly strong growth at the moment are aluminium windows and doors and conservatory roofs. Fabricators looking to capitalise on the opportunities in either or both of these sectors, are turning to one machine – the TT 425 Double Mitre Saw from Haffner Murat. Managing Director Dave Thomas explains why. If you want to grow your business, it makes sense to focus on sectors that are expanding because it will boost your chances of meeting your targets. In the window industry at the moment, there are two areas seeing particularly strong growth – aluminium windows and doors and conservatory roofs. These products are part of wider trend to towards higher value products that deliver a clear aesthetic difference. If you want to capitalise on growth in these sectors – or any other sector, you need to make sure you’ve got your offering right. This means choosing the right products and marketing them in the right way.

But it’s also important to make sure that your manufacturing is exceptional too. This is especially true if you’re looking to target high value sectors where quality is an integral part of the aesthetics people are buying into. This means making sure your fabrication is set up to deliver exceptional quality – and improves efficiency so you’re able to cope with increasing demand as you grow. And this means investing in automation machinery. We’re seeing more and more fabricators coming to us because they want to set up their fabrication to make the most of the market opportunities. In either case, there’s an impressive machine that fits the bill. It’s the TT 425 Double Mitre Saw.

The TT 425 offers incredible length, angle and cutting accuracy thanks to its solid case construction and linear bearing system. A horizontal and vertical clamping system ensures optimum profile fixing to improve quality. It’s incredibly versatile – it has a cleat cutting facility and oversize length cuts between 4mm and 4,500mm and offers numerous practical features such as a pivoting range with digital display, work piece supports and profile lifting bars too. Item numbers, length dimensions, angles and quantities can be programmed on the control panel – and you can cut in different programmes to make changes to the schedule easy. Data can be transferred via a connection or USB, so it can slot into whatever IT setup you have in place.

Two of the most recent customers to come to us looking for ways to maximise quality and efficiency in their production were Titan Trade Windows and Prestige Windows & Doors. Kam Nandha, Director at Prestige Windows & Doors, commented: “The new machine is currently being installed at our new East London manufacturing plant and we can already see what a difference it’s going to make to our efficiencies.”

Of course, when you choose a Haffner Murat machine, you get more than just a great product. You also get in-depth knowledge and experience of window fabrication and an unswerving commitment to service. We’ll take time to understand your requirements so we can recommend the solution that’s right for your business. All our machines come with expert installation and full training so they can start to deliver return on investment from day one and finance packages are available subject to status and part exchange is an option too.

Kam Nandha said: “I have known Dave Thomas and the Haffner Murat team for some years and the quality of their service has more than lived up to our expectations.”

So, if you’re looking to achieve growth, whichever area of the industry you want to target, getting your setup sorted is essential. But you only need to make one call to get this taken care of. It’s to Haffner Murat.
