Cortizo opens a second UK office in Leeds with showroom and technical function

Cortizo continues to expand its presence in the United Kingdom, opening a new office in Leeds, its second in the country after London.

The new facilities of the aluminum multinational will feature a 400 m² showroom showcasing its main window, door, and façade systems designed for the British market and adapted to its construction specifications and regulatory framework. Solutions on display will include the Bi-fold Plus; the sliding Cor Vision Plus, Cor Vision, 4900 HI, and 4700; the Millennium Plus and Millennium Plus Pivot doors; the COR 80 Industrial, COR 70 Hidden Sash, Alu-Steel, and Casement hinged windows.

The showroom will be accompanied by a technical and commercial support service for customers and architecture firms in the north of the country.

Cortizo, which has been exporting to the UK since the early 1990s, began marketing its aluminum systems in the UK five years ago. “We studied the needs of the market, listened to potential clients, and opted for a business model that would meet their key demands: quality and immediacy,” explains Daniel Lainz, general manager of Cortizo’s architecture division. The multinational developed specific products, launched a dedicated same-day delivery warehouse for the territory, and opened its first technical and commercial office in London.

“During this time our sales have been multiplied by six and the UK now accounts for 16% of our business, consolidating it as our main international market,” adds Daniel Lainz, who highlights the importance of having a new office in Leeds that will allow them to “be closer to clients in the north of the country and reinforce our proximity strategy,” he concludes.

Cortizo’s aluminum systems are featured in landmark buildings in the UK such as the The Mercian Tower in Birmingham, the Belfast Hospital and University, the Ascot Racecourse extension, the University of Sheffield, the PlayStation facilities in Liverpool, and countless residential projects in London and in the rest of the country.
